While it's no substitute for being in the room I offer HIPAA compliant online video therapy through Doxy.me. Whether it's due to ongoing concerns around COVID19, inclement weather, geographic proximity issues or scheduling conflicts, teletherapy may be an option to start or continue working together.
There is no registration requirement. You'd simply need to check in at https://doxy.me/mcne and go into the virtual waiting room.
Ideally you'd have strong wifi or a hard-wired internet connection and a webcam and most importantly a space where you can assure your confidentiality and that our sessions would not be overheard. I recommend using headphones and a microphone, but a built-in laptop microphone usually will suffice.
We would do a specific teletherapy consent form prior to the first session online.
Please call or e-mail if this option might work for you and we'd determine the best course forward.
Note: Massachusetts regulations only allow teletherapy with those with a Massachusetts residence who are in the state at the time of the session.
