If you’re facing the challenges of becoming a father for the first time you might be asking yourself the following questions:
- How do I make sure I’m the best father I can be?
- What is this going to mean for my marriage? For my friendships and hobbies? For my sex life?
- How do I balance work with raising kids?
- Will I be as good (or as bad) as my father was?
Our job is to become the dad we wish we had. This is a group to turn the struggles of being a new father into the opportunity to become the man your kid needs you to be – responsive, calm, tuned-in, patient, insightful, creative, fun and loyal. Through honest, vulnerable, humorous and authentic connection with other new fathers, facilitated by Michael Lynch, LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist), you can arrive at the best answers to these questions and more.
$40 per 90-minute session
Wednesday evenings, 6 pm beginning April 1st (or when we have reached capacity of 6-8 participants)
Group will be ongoing and new men could join as others leave. I do ask 8 weeks commitment to get to know the group, feel comfortable and create cohesion before ending.
